- Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address.
- Activity Data: Suggestions you accept, complete, or skip, along with completion dates.
- Photos: Photos you voluntarily upload as proof of completed activities. These are stored securely and associated with your account.
- Preferences: Your age range selection and app preferences.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide personalized activity suggestions
- To save your activity history and photos
- To sync your data across devices
- To improve our suggestion algorithm
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted storage and secure authentication. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage with access limited to your account.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:
- When you choose to share content to social media platforms
- When required by law
Social Sharing
When you share to Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, or other platforms, you are sharing directly with those services according to their privacy policies. We do not retain copies of shared content beyond what's already in your account.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all data associated with your account
- Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data through the app's Settings
- Portability: Request a copy of your data
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data including photos is permanently removed from our servers.
Children's Privacy
DoSomething is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date.
